Today's (January 9, 2008) Daily Press features an article about immigrants and their use of our English as a Second Language laboratory here at Warwick UCC, plus our used coat ministry. Congratulations to Bucky Holmes, Sue Howell and Brenda Tagge, who staff the lab.

PHIR - a new organization working with churches and others to start a day center for the homeless of Newport News. Incorporated and initial meetings held by our church members. Congregational meeting OK's Warwick UCC being the first member church. Solutions as mission, not just a bandaid. Expect more information soon.
